Mark Briscoe Delivers Impassioned Video Directed at Jon Moxley.
On the upcoming June 4th episode of AEW Dynamite, Mark Briscoe is scheduled to face AEW Men’s World Champion Jon Moxley in a singles match. This bout stems from a recent encounter on Dynamite where Moxley choked Briscoe out during a mixed trios match.
In a newly released digital exclusive, Briscoe delivered a passionate promo directly addressing Moxley, highlighting their shared history in hardcore wrestling circuits like the Combat Zone. Briscoe emphasized that their careers had once followed similar paths, but now they are on a collision course.
The promo took a deeply personal turn as Briscoe recounted a conversation with his children after the previous week's Dynamite. His five-year-old son questioned whether he had quit during the match, an accusation that deeply affected Briscoe.
He vowed to his children that he would never quit, and in response to this he accused Moxley of relying on his allies, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir, suggesting that Moxley cannot succeed without support.
Briscoe contrasted this with his own resilience, emphasizing his 23-year career as a tag team wrestler and multiple-time tag team champion, even after his brother's departure and vowed that his children will watch him defeat Moxley on Dynamite, proving that he doesn't quit.
